Introduction to e-collars

For some people finding choosing and then using an e-collar can be a daunting task if you've never done this before. Come spend a day with us and learn about several very important considerations when it comes to deciding to buy an e-collar - or better yet - if you even need to at this stage of the developmental game.

You'll be learning signs to recognize that will better communicate to you if and when your dog is ready for the e-collar. Then once the decision is made, how do you effect it? We'll walk you through introducing the dog to the collar for the first time, how to set proper stimulation level/s, how to read the dog to ensure that proper stimulation is being utilized. Finally, we'll also walk you through the steps of preparing the dog for corrections with the e-collar that won't take any passion or drive from your committed hunting and training partner.
